What changes the price
- Length. Short bookings cost more per hour, because travel and setup stay the same.
- Number of children. More children need more artists or a longer booking.
- Day and season. Weekends, school holidays, Eid and National Day sit at the top of each range.
- Sound and props. A host who brings a sound system and themed props costs more than one who uses the venue's speaker.
- Language. A bilingual host can sit higher in the range.
- Location. Abu Dhabi and Sharjah add a travel fee.
- Combining acts. Two acts booked together usually cost less than booking them apart.
The check that saves money
Before you pay a venue deposit, ask about its rules for outside entertainers: an approved supplier list, a noise curfew or a ban on certain activities.
