You can hire a kids entertainer in Abu Dhabi through the same team that books parties in Dubai. Face painters, clowns, balloon artists, mascots and party characters, puppet shows, bubble shows and party hosts travel to villas, compounds, hotels, schools and malls in the capital. Travel is priced into the quote from the start.
Price: the act prices are the same as in Dubai, for example AED 750 to AED 1,500 for a clown or AED 350 to AED 600 per hour for a face painter. Travel to Abu Dhabi usually adds AED 150 to AED 300. See kids entertainer prices.

Travel and timing
Most entertainers are based in Dubai and travel to Abu Dhabi for the booking. Allow for the drive when you set the start time, and avoid a start that falls in the evening rush on a weekday. Give the exact address, the gate or tower, parking and the floor in your message, so the entertainer arrives in time to set up. Mention Abu Dhabi in your first message: the travel fee is then in the first quote, not added later.
Rules in Abu Dhabi
A private party at a home, a villa or a private venue booking needs no entertainment permit. A public event, a mall activation, a ticketed show or a branded family day falls under DCT Abu Dhabi rather than Dubai's DET. The venue or the organiser usually holds the permit, so ask the venue's events team which category your event falls into. For a school or nursery, entertainers need a valid police clearance certificate.
Heat and space
The capital is as hot as Dubai from May to September. Keep daytime entertainment indoors or under deep shade, and give a face painter a cool corner so the paint does not run. Puppet shows and seated acts suit apartments. Clowns, mascots and bubble shows need room for the children to move.
How to book
Send the date, the start time, the area and venue, the number of children and their ages on WhatsApp or through the quote form. The team checks who is free, sends videos and a written price including travel, and confirms the performer and the times in writing.
